It's about this bat, Shade who's the runt of the colony..He and the rest of the bats are banished into the night, unable to see the light of day lest the birds and beasts attack them. Along the way to Hibernaculum, he is separated from his colony and he meets a Brightwing, Marina,2 carnivorous bats, and one mystic albino bat named Zephyr..After traveling through a the vast ocean, an unfamiliar city,a cold mountain,a gushing river and waterfall while encountering dangers.
