I haven't even started yet. *sigh* Christmas break was packed with stuff to do, and apparently, I'm becoming OC about cleaning my room. What is wrong with me? It took one look at the tutorials and well, I've decided, since it's due on Thursday, I won't sleep at all tomorrow night. *sigh* *sigh* *sigh* XD

What's been happening the few sweet days after New Year and before school starts once more?
Hmm.
January 2- I accompanied my dad to the headquarters of the Navy, etc. XD Then, we went to the mall. :) I had a second opinion on my eyes. My eye grade got even higher.(_Of all grades, why this =))) What is happening to me? :O
The lady said the grade gets higher when I'm "puyat." Err, okay, I confess, instead of catching up on early zzz's, I've been even more of a night person. *Sigh* The only vampire-y physical feature that I have is eyebags. Lol. XD XD
I grew happier after that though. We went to National Bestsellers and I got four books, 3 fantasy and one historical fiction. Yay to those genres! :D One's an anthology of sci-fi and fantasy stories (Firebird), one is about two girls and a stalker angel (Angel..The plot sounds cool, stalker part and all. XD), the third is a fantasy about a girl in a kingdom where the dream-maker is replaced. ( Dreammaker's Magic) and the fourth is the historical fiction book about the actress/dramatist who brought Shakespeare's works to France. XD XD XD
January 3- In the afternoon, we went to a Mass celebrating the 40th death day of my Uncle Tato. I know he's happy now; he's sent so many signs. :D It was nice to see an Opus Dei center again too; it's been so long. It made me reminisce about the times I was in Tanglaw everyday, since it was my bus stop. haha. :D Then, there was a gathering at my Auntie Mayette's house after. I enjoyed being with my relatives. There was a lot of dog-chasing, chatting, enjoying the delicious international fare, hoping the dogs won't fight and seeing yearbooks and Kuya Mark's articles :)) :D
January 4- Today. We went to my dad's mom's house and had Sunday lunch there. My mom told them about the glasses things. And now they're telling me to get glasses too. I don't think I have a choice, but what do you think, people, Should I get glasses?  Please tell me if I am being completely irrational about this, because I'm begininng to believe that I am. =))
Then, we went to Greenbelt. We went around Greenbelt one to five. My mom got a new video cam. Gosh, I wonder at her fetish for getting video cams. We also went to Powerbooks, Landmark,Cinderella etc. My brother wanted go to the Ayala Museum. He should've come with us last time. XD My brother and my dad played at Timezone while my mom and I went to KopiRoti. Ah! Coffee buns and coffee. I believe I will never know if I'm having a growth spurt because of my caffeine addiction. *sigh*

I still enjoyed New Year's Eve even though it was kind of incomplete without some of my relatives there. XD
Anyway, we stayed less than 24 hours at A.Venue. Hahaha =)) We arrived at around one o'clock. Since it's Makati and a commercial area, my mom, dad, brother and I walked around and looked at the A.Venue mall there. It had a mall. LOL> :)) We had a late lunch then.
After we went to the mall, we looked around at the hotel. My brother and I randomly experimented with the barbells at the gym, but after a few minutes, our mom caught us and told us to stop, so we went upstairs to the game room and played billiard. XD
Surprising, isn't it? It was the first time we played and we enjoyed it. I realized that it had something to do with vectors, so I imagined Ma'am Toledo playing it. O.o :))
After, we watched Shrek 2. We watched other movies too, like the Changeling. The plot was nice, but it was a bit dragging.
Then, we ordered pasta from the hotel and my dad bought pizza . We also brought cold cuts , Ghirardelli's chocolate and I'm not sure what else. We watched the fireworks and there were still some even at four am.
We woke up late the next day, obviously. But when we woke up, my brother and I wanted to play billiards again, but our mom said we had to have breakfast first. Then, we went straight to the game room after. Lol. I find it strange that kids like us enjoy it. XD XD XD

I guess there are some people bored with Christmas break, but somehow I'm not..I've left a lot of things undone and I need some time to unwind. :))
I woke up late yet again today. Then, my dad and I played the ABC game, which is similar to scrabble, but you can stack things up. I was winning initially, but he beat me. :))
In the afternoon, I packed my stuff for our regular New Year hotel trip. It's a family tradition. This year, we're going to this new hotel called the A.Venue Hotel at Makati Avenue. Lolz. The name amuses me. :))
As usual, I think I overpacked. I have this compulsion to over pack. Some people might remember that at the batch seminar at Rosehill, I brought a whole suitcase for overnight. >_< I learned that I'm never going to do that again. Too embarrassing. So this time, everything fit into a duffel bag, but just barely. I seem to have this fear that it might rain or we might get stranded or my mom might decide that we stay longer which she sometimes does. Irrational of me, but yes, over packing is one of my quirks. My heavy schoolbag is proof of that. More than half the stuff I don't use. :))
Then, I fixed my room. For some reason, today, I was in a cleaning fix. Now, my room is spic and span, so I don't even want to enter it :))
I decided to bathe Chanoma this evening. For a little dog, he puts up quite a fight when being bathed. =)) I also got drenched.I rewarded him though with cat food, yep, cat food. He didn't like it at first and he began running around, leaving me exasperated, so I left the cat food somewhere else. Just at that moment, he decided he wanted the cat food then went sniffing for it. *sigh* xD
Yesh. Then, I updated my site, posted a few blogs, am posting a review, then I posted another chapter of Chiaroscuro on Fictionpress XD XD XD
so, I guess it's an ordinary, but fulfilling day.
Ooh, look, it's 12:19. Happy New Year's Eve, everyone! It's the last day of 2008. What a year! :)

Yesterday, my brother and I weren't really supposed to go to the farm, but my mom changed her mind that day. As usual *throws up her hands in the air* =))
Ohwells, we enjoyed it. My mom invited some visitors and I brought Chanel/Chanoma/Obama. XD We went down the trail then took a steeper, roundabout route going back up. I carried Chanoma all the way, but I was still in the lead. XD It was an exhilarating climb. :)) I wish though that Cielo, Ishbelle, Gwen and Kaye were there though =)) so many memories. lol.
We had lunch after, grilled fare as usual. Mmm. :D Then, I went to explore by myself. Chanoma would get a sunstroke if he came with me. I first went up the pavilion then I explored the pathways. I found this meadow which kind of reminded me of the local version of Bella and Edward's meadow. :> :))
I looked through the meadow for awhile then I saw some pretty flowers, so I passed through the long stalks to get them. I got snagged by thorns, but there were no vampires. Aww. :))
I went to the clubhouse then to the pavilion again. Then, back I went to where they all where. I collapsed and fell asleep for awhile while the rest went up to the pavilion.
When I woke up, they were still gone, so back I went to the pavilion, which gave a 360 degree view of everything. O.O We watched the sunset there then Tito Danny said he wouldn't leave until he could push someone off the pavilion. =))
We headed back, but not home yet. We went to Eastwood. We ate dinner there then looked at the mall.We bought pet food for Chanoma then we visited Auntie and her humongously cute and fluffy cats at her condo :))
It was around 11 pm by the time we left. Chanoma was exhausted by then xD

It all started as a normal day out.
I was happily browsing through the books, randomly getting hyper and freaking out other book shoppers.
So well,as normal as it could get =))
Then my mom brought me there. to that place.

Oh, crud. It was for an eye checkup.
I really don't know why they ask you to read the same lines first for your left eye, then for your right eye.I mean that doesn't make sense. You could just memorize the lines? :))
My right eye is okay. My left eye isn't. wth. =))
I adamantly told my mom that I wasn't getting glasses, no offense to anyone with glasses. It looks great on you guys, but not on me XD
So now we're getting a second opinion.
Maybe even a third.
Or contacts, maybe. My mom said though that I'd have a hard time reading with contacts on. Is that true?
Riding home, my mom sighed. "Dealing with typical teenagers is difficult."
That sent a "Hmph"from me.
Then my brother asked, "Can we borrow a horror movie?"
And I retorted, " You're scared of Beowulf. How can you even watch horror movies?"
My brother nonsensically replied, "'Cuz I'm afraid of death."
And then I said, "We're all going to die anyway."
My mom said, "See what I mean."
My brother said, "We both started the argument. But you started it more."
Lolz.

Yay! Christmas! The day we've all been waiting for, right? :D Haha..I sound weird.
I woke up at 6:50, but only got up and about at around eight. We went to the church for Mass, but we found out that Mass was at 9 so we went home again and had Christmas breakfast. Pop tarts and peanut butter for me :))
We went to Mass, greeting people we encountered. People really do seem happier on this day of days :)) Great, now I'm sounding even odder. XD We went to the grocery to buy some last minute stuff.
Upon arriving home, it was off to setting the table for Christmas dinner. =)) Yea, everyone was in a flurry for that and it was just 10:30 am. After an hour and a half of fretting and fussing, we had lunch then gift-opening. :D I got lots of purple stuff, bags and clothes,a couple of books, a radio and some stuff I don't recall XD :D I've noticed that once you get older, people don't expect you to play with toys anymore :))
I spent the rest of the afternoon texting people and getting ready for the family party--oh and snoozing a bit. :))
We had Christmas dinner, funner than noche buena. :)) Then, we had some games. I was really laughing at this game where you had to run around with a piece of ribbon --and oh, it's hard to explain.
Kuya Wacky, Ate Michelle and Brady arrived in the middle of the games, just as I was hit by a water balloon :)) how dignified of me. Once again, Brady's so behaved. He just slept all the time. And Ate Michelle and Kuya Wacky are good parents; we liked hearing their stories as well. XD
Auntie Alice, Auntie Kryss and family were the last to leave at around 3 am. XD Goodbyes in our family usually take an hour, 'cuz they stop and chat and remember stuff just as they are about to leave =)) XD

I do wish that this Christmas break would just go on and on. I still have to catch up on my sleep. That's one thing I haven't done yet. =)) And I need to post the second chapter of this story I'm making. XD
I'd better keep a record of what I've been doing the past Christmas break for posterity, once again. =))
20th of December-I slept in and my Dad arrived from Zamboanga. We went to TriNoMa and I did some Christmas shopping. And after that, we decided to go around Makati,Manila and Pasig to see the lights. We went to this stopover for dessert and my brother said that he saw Demi Lovato. Gad. Disney's brainwashing him =)) There were a lot of lights at Manila, but the lights are fewer now. Recession, I presume.
21st of December-We visited my dad's side of the family. We had to leave early 'cuz my dad and mum had to go to this dinner hosted by the flag officer in command of the navy or something. No kids allowed, of course. XD My brother and I stayed home instead. Ohwells. The TV is fun watching anyway. :))
22nd of December- After lunch, we went to the mall. SM, which I normally don't prefer going to, opened this new portion of the mall called "The Annex." It's nice. It has better shops, I think. Then, we had this early Christmas dinner 'cuz my dad had to leave the next day. Then, my dad, brother and I walked to "simbang gabi". It was cool 'cuz they had this light show and the Christmas lights in church were really bright and cheery. Then, Kuya Wacky and Ate Michelle came, bringing my cousin--I mean nephew, Brayden. Aww, so cute and he's really behaved for a baby. He doesn't cry at all. :D
23rd of December- Stayed at home all day :D
24th of December-We went to TriNoMa. Gosh, I wasn't able to finish Christmas shopping. Need to find gifts for Isabelle and Gwen =)) Went grocery shopping for Christmas dinner, then visited some relatives. XD

Today was fun. :D
Hehe, I overslept and had to cram tying ribbons on the gifts. I arrived one hour late, but it also started at that time, so it pretty much evens out. :)) And I just had to rant on the Christmas greetings, didn't I? :)) :D :D
The Paskorus program was okay, I guess. I wonder what people thought of hearing Kumukutitkutitap over and over again =)) Oh yeah, most of the audience were the students who also attended general rehearsal yesterday, so it was kind of ironic :))
The Sagala dance was cool though. Their choreography and performance was stunning. :)) Karol, you should've seen it ;D XD
The batch party was fun in its own way :)) Haha, in the first game, it was only Garnet that wanted to join XD I tried the second game just for fun> After that, i decided to just go and watch from upstairs with my friends since it seemed so much funner
The Sapphire and Garnet tables were right below us and we had leftovers with us. (*lightbulb*) So yes, we were randomly throwing stuff down, like ketchup packets. There were even half-eaten cupcakes lying temptingly around. Remember English class? Screw stones. Throw cupcakes instead. XD
Kenji's sister, Mika, was so cute. She was wearing all-pink from her shirt to her pants to her necklace. Even her ID was pink. =)) She became attached to the puppy stuffed toy/hat that Isaiah gave me. (Thanks, Isaiah! :D I decided to follow your suggestion and name him Bubba XD) I promised her her own puppy stuffed toy :)) Aww, she's like a mini-Sharpay. XD
The raffle took most of the time. :)) They called so many absent people or people who left. LOL =)) Oh yeah, Sir Pazon was showering candy at people. XD

Oh yes, I have been ultra cramming.
Sunday Morning, I had a million things to accomplish: the Blender animation, English script, Earth Sci Homework, etc. etc.
Oh wells. :| We had lunch at Makati Shang (Shang Palace) Dimsum and Chinese food have never been this good. =))
Then, we went to TriNoMa 'cuz my brother really just had to buy these pokemon stuff at the gift factory. And my mom wanted to buy Marks and Spencer's pastries, but the lines were so long =)) Luckily, that wasn't the case at Powerbooks.
We then went to Starbucks. I got the planner already, a red one to make it festive. XD
We went to Xavierville after, to vist my aunt and cousins..
Last night, I crammed the English script. I was up 'til 4:30. Even inserting the pages in the clear book took a lot of time :))
Oh yeah, I brought my puppy to school this morning. It was so fun playing with him. Now I know he likes SocSci notes and to keep him away from drafting materials =)) woot. He also prefers girl's laps over guys. no wait, change that to altos. =))
Another thing I crammed: Christmas shopping.
Oh dear.

I believe my puppy  thinks he's a cat.
Reasons Why
1.) He refuses Pedigree or pet shop food or any dog food, but sneaks to eat Whiskas when our backs are turned.
2.) The first animals he met when he was bought were my Auntie Alice's 4 cats. (persian and himalayan =)))
3.) He bugs my grandma's two persian cats all the time. =))
4.) He hardly barks.
5.) He scratches at times. XD

Wow, it's December already.. I can hardly believe it..
I had a bit of a long weekend 'cuz I was absent today. :)) I wasn't playing hooky or anything though :D
What I did this weekend.......
We went to Shangri-La last Saturday. We went around Rustans, then ate and drank (:))) at Starbucks and browsed through National. My mom suggested watching Twilight next time as we were in a hurry 'cuz she had to attend a concert and a party. XD Is Twilight worth watching,by the way?
Sunday..We spent the day at my Auntie Mayette's house at Xavierville. My mom and I went to Rustans Grocery at Katipunan and she offered to treat me at Starbucks and I refused. :O I shouldn't have done that, but they were all waiting at Xavierville so..
I had Mass with Kuya Mark and Ate Mia outside the church. It was evening and so fun; we got to see the "naturey" part of the Church's outside and the moon glowing eerily yet in a friendly way. :)) And, I crammed SocSci that night until 6:00 am.
Luckily, I finished it. I slept at 6:20 am. That's the latest I've ever slept. =)) I only slept for an hour though as I was absent to attend my Uncle Tato's burial. (He was cremated last Sunday and was buried today, on the ninth day.) We released blue and white balloons and gave white and purple orchids..
The atmosphere at Loyola was peaceful and sunny, showing that Uncle Tato is happy wherever he is. We brought my dog Chanel for comic relief. He kept on running about and entertaining us.
Coincidentally, today is also my brother's eighth birthday, so my mom, grandma, Uncle Jun, Auntie Alice, Auntie Mayette, my cousins and family friends had lunch at Cravings Katipunan. We wanted to see the new Eastwood Mall, but some had other appointments so..I went crazy at Cravings though with their tempeh and good food, not to mention their dessert XD Uncle Jun ordered risotto and it turned out to just be rice cooked in a sauce. Thanks to Kuya Arvin who suggested that =)) lol.
Today was not only my brother's birthday though, it was the birthday of my Uncle Tato entering a new life. :) Cheers to everyone and Season's Greetings! :)
